Virtual Assistant with Bookkeeping Experience

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Virtual Assistant w/ Bookkeeping experience to handle financial transactions, maintain records, and assist with financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic bookkeeping principles and experience using QuickBooks Desktop Pro. This is a remote position requiring accuracy, efficiency, and the ability to work independently.

8 hour shift (Full time)

4-6 hour shift (Part time)

Schedule

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and categorize financial transactions accurately.

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and vendor accounts.

  • Maintain organized financial records and ensure accuracy.

  • Generate basic financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.

  • Assist with invoice management and expense tracking.

  • Follow up on outstanding payments and overdue invoices.

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

  • Work with accountants to support tax preparation and audits.

Requirements

  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance.

  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Pro and Excel.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.

  • Ability to manage multiple financial tasks independently.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
